NOTE:  Most positions require the ability to obtain and maintain a government clearance and must meet  eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

System Engineer

Various levels of System Engineers are needed to fill a number of positions at various locations within DoD and the Intelligence Community (IC).  Interested candidates should have experience developing IT system requirements, architecture, implementation and transition plans, CONOPs, and system specifications.  A minimum of 5-10 years of experience (dependent upon the grade level) is required, with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related disciplines expected (equivalent experience will be considered).  A Master’s degree in a related field is a plus.

Specific experience in the design and implementation of messaging and directory systems is sought, with experience in any area of Defense Message System (DMS) implementation a plus.  Experience with Microsoft Exchange and Lotus Notes messaging environments, as well as X.400 messaging and X.500 directory services is desirable.

Candidate must be able to work in either an independent environment or with a team of other engineers.  Communications skills, specifically written and oral abilities, are required, as documentation, briefings, team leadership, and graphical representations are a substantial part of the position requirements.

IA Engineer

Various levels of Information Assurance Security Engineers are needed to fill a number of positions at various locations within DoD and the Intelligence Community (IC).  Interested candidates should have experience computer/network security concepts, network firewalls, network vulnerability assessment; network risk management, network security software, vulnerability exploitation techniques, network operating systems, and use of tools.  .  Knowledge of Public Key Infrastructures (PKI) is extremely desirable.  Candidate should be capable of generating security requirements, architecture, implementation and transition plans, CONOPs, and system specifications.  A minimum of 5-10 years of experience (dependent upon the grade level) is required, with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related disciplines expected (equivalent experience will be considered.  A Master’s degree in a related field is a plus.

Specific experience in the design and implementation of information assurance solutions is sought, with experience in any area of secure messaging and PKI implementation a plus.  Knowledge of IDS, Firewall, VPN, guards, smart cards, Fortezza, Biometrics and secure web portal technologies are a plus.  Experience with LDAP and/or X.500 Directory Implementations is a plus.  Experience working with multiple product vendors is desirable.

Directory Services Engineer

Various levels of Directory Engineers are needed to fill a number of positions at various locations within DoD and the Intelligence Community (IC).  Interested candidates should have experience developing database or directory system requirements, architecture, implementation and transition plans, CONOPs, and system specifications.  A minimum of 5 years of experience (dependent upon the grade level) is required, with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related disciplines expected (equivalent experience will be considered). 

Specific experience in the design and implementation of directory systems is sought, with experience in any area of Messaging and PKI implementation a plus.  Experience with LDAP and/or X.500 Directory Implementations is required.  Experience in establishing interoperability between multiple product vendors is desirable.  In particular, Microsoft Active Directory, Netscape Directory Services and DCL Directory are desirable.  Meta-Directory technologies and experience developing multi-agency directory solutions is a plus. Participation in directory international and Internet standards bodies and allied/coalition environments a plus.

Laboratory Engineer

Candidates experienced in the installation, configuration, testing, and evaluation of various IT applications are needed to fill Laboratory Engineering positions for projects within the DoD and various elements of the Intelligence Community (IC).  Interested candidates should have 4-6 years of experience with Microsoft Windows NT, and 2000, as well as various UNIX based operating systems (HP, Solaris, LINUX).  Additional experience in the installation and evaluation of messaging and directory products is desirable.

The above experience is required with a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related discipline desired (equivalent experience will be considered).  Additional, relevant certifications, to include MCSE, LCE, or CCNE/A are a plus.  We are interested in candidates with Microsoft Exchange, Lotus Notes, and X.400/X.500 laboratory experience.  Installation experience with Defense Message System (DMS) compliant and conformant products is definitely a plus.
